Description of centre

Aberystwyth is a warm and friendly town on the West coast of Wales, well known for its safe living environment. It is the cultural centre of the region, and home to the National Library of Wales and Aberystwyth Arts Centre. The University opened in 1872, and has an international reputation for its long tradition of high quality teaching and research in a modern learning environment. The main campus overlooks the town and the sea, and has all student facilities, including Sports Centre and Arts Centre. The International English Centre offers an English Language Summer School with free social programme and English Language and Foundation Courses throughout the year.
