Finding the perfect course is easy
You will find more English language courses at accredited UK centres here than on any other website in the world. So, whatever you are looking for, you will find it with English UK.
Start with the basics: how long a course do you want, and exactly what do you want it to cover? You can choose from a huge variety, to suit every need and every skill level.
You might want to improve your academic or business English, or combine language learning with work experience or a hobby, or to take an examination course.
Maybe you would prefer one-to-one tuition, or learning in a teacher's home. Or you might want a general course, either for an adult or an older child. All this, and more, is possible. For much more detail, visit our types of accredited courses page.
Next you need to think about where you want to study. There are accredited English language centres and schools all over the UK, in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and England - where would you like to go? The where in the UK section gives a useful overview of the different regions. You should also decide whether you would prefer studying in a busy city or a quieter town.
Now you know what and where you want to study, it's time to use the search box on the right. The quick search will give you a good start, but if you have special requirements - perhaps you want a really small class, or want to study English plus another subject - use the advanced search.
Perhaps you're searching for an 'English for Lawyers' course, or want to combine your language study with Business Management, or you want to prepare to take your IELTS or Cambridge ESOL FCE examination - here you can choose from a wide range of options. Remember - it can be useful to print out your results list and centre profiles to help you make comparisons.
Finally, it is really important that you spend time looking at the websites of your short-listed centres to make sure that what they offer is right for you before booking.
All our member schools and centres are accredited under the Accreditation UK scheme. This is run by the British Council in partnership with English UK.
