English UK aims to organise three inward missions each year - in spring (usually May), summer (for summer programme providers) and autumn (October).
These missions bring overseas agents to the UK so that they can gain direct experience of English language provision here. They also provide members with a cost-effective way to establish new contacts and meet with agents and educational consultants in an atmosphere that is business-focused, yet informal and relaxed.
Each inward mission focuses on a specific region within the UK, and includes two workshops and at least four showcases.
During a workshop, participating agents meet with approximately ten English UK members for appointment sessions, which are arranged in advance using the eSchedule Lite online scheduling system.
During a showcase, the agents visit one particular member centre, and programmes may include tours of the premises, sample lessons or presentations.
