Member centres of English UK are encouraged to use the English UK member logo in all their publicity materials.*
Use of the English UK member logo
Use of English UK member logo is restricted to member centres only and should not be used by corporate members, partner agencies or any other affiliated or non-affiliated organisation or partner.
The English UK member logo consists of the English UK logotype, and the 'Flag' graphic device whilst incorporating 'member' status below the English UK logotype. These three elements are fixed and should not be altered in any way.
Logo colour variants and specifications
The English UK member logo is supplied in 3 colour variants to make sure whatever background colour or print process being used, it will have maximum standout. The 2 colour logo is the preferred logo and should be used wherever possible. The other variants are white out and black only.
Common sense should be used in selecting which logos work best with which background colours and images. The logo must not be displayed in isolation in a 'box' of colour but must sit in the space within the document.
English UK's colours are Red (Pantone 1797), and Blue (Pantone Reflex Blue).
For four colour applications, the English UK Red (Pantone 1797) must print the CMYK equivalent comprised of M:94%, Y:94%, K:6%. The English UK Blue (Pantone Reflex Blue) must print the CMYK equivalent comprised of C:100%, M:72%, K:6%. Colours are defined by the print industry standard, the Pantone Matching System.
The black logo is used for one-colour applications or colour applications where PMS 1797 and Pantone Reflex Blue are not available. The black logo prints 100% black.
The white logo is used for one-colour applications or colour applications where PMS 1797 and Pantone Reflex Blue are not available and the logo is required on a dark background.

Additional guidelines
Our guidelines on the minimum logo size are 30mm (width) for print and 155 pixels (width) for screen. The minimum size for print is set to retain visual impact and readability. The minimum size for screen is set to maintain visual strength and legibility without going 'soft' and unclear.
In cases where the English UK logo is to be used in conjunction with but subsidiary to another logo we advise that the English UK logo be no less than 75% of the size of the main logo.
