Reach students in Europe and around the world
In order to support English UK members looking to increase direct bookings, one of English UK's international objectives is to build new direct channel activities that increase face-to-face and online interactions between the association, our members and prospective students and clients around the world.
English UK is therefore working with a StudyPortals site, LanguageLearningPortal.com, one of the world's fastest-growing educational portal sites, to give every member a full, free listing in four languages.
All English UK members get a free basic listing on the specialist LanguageLearningPortal site and a 10 per cent discount if they take up the premium service, which allows students to click though to the websites of centres for more information or bookings.
This partnership was initiated in autumn 2015 and has been renewed in autumn 2016 for a further year.
Between September 2015 and June 2016, there were 681,356 impressions of English UK member centres' listings, with 220,939 page views and 16,075 click-throughs.
LanguageLearningPortal.com receives users from 227 countries, 41 per cent of whom are in Asia and 29 per cent in Europe. Most users are aged 18-34, use a desktop computer, and spend on average 1.47 minutes on the site.
