The Certificate in Student Services Management is a unique qualification in the ELT industry for student welfare and accommodation professionals. Formerly called the Welfare Officer's Certificate Course (WOCC), the Cert SSM continues the same highly-rated content which made the WOCC such a success.
It is suitable both for experienced and inexperienced practitioners.
Cert SSM assessment and course structure
The course combines self-study with seven face-to-face sessions. It is highly practical, and is delivered in a task-based format to cover all aspects of student management. The qualification is coursework assessed, and a comprehensive distance learning pack covers all of the course topics. The tutors, Diane Phillips, Liz Granato and Nigel Heritage provide participants with a high level of personalised support during training sessions and tutorials.
The Cert SSM continues the highly-respected WOCC has a proven track record of success.
Cert SSM modules include: Working Effectively within the Organisation; Organising Student Accomodation; Managing Student Accomodation; Care of under 18s; Welfare and Student Services; Legal Responsibilities; Customer Service.
