The WOCC is a unique qualification in the ELT industry for student welfare and accommodation professionals. It is suitable both for experienced and inexperienced practitioners and is run from November to April.

The course combines self-study with seven face-to-face sessions. It is highly practical, and is delivered in a task-based format to cover all aspects of welfare. The qualification is coursework assessed, and a comprehensive distance learning pack covers all of the course topics. The tutors, Ulla Holmer and Diane Phillips, provide participants with a high level of personalised support during training day sessions and through a tutorial visit to your own place of work. The Welfare Officers' Certificate Course is highly respected in the UK ELT sector and has a proven track record of success.
