English Courses

Course Description

A practical General English programme linked to excursions and experiencing culture and life in the UK and Greece

Programme duration

1 week (7 nights, 8 days) or

2 weeks (14 nights, 15 days)

Study hours

15 hours of English lessons per week

We believe that the learning experience should be directly connected to the places our students visit and the people they meet.

Our engaging syllabus is a free-flowing set of modules, which are based around topics and themes connected with British culture and places the students visit during their stay.

Lessons focus on communication skills, with students speaking English as much as possible, using contexts that expose them to the language in everyday situations.

All our teachers are qualified (CELTA or equivalent) to teach English as a foreign language, are suitable to work with students under the age of 18, trained in safeguarding, welfare and Prevent Duty and hold an enhanced level DBS certificate.

Excursions & Activities

Excursions

and activities

Apart from our strive for educational excellence, we also put a lot of weight on the social and leisure aspects of our programmes. Our students have the opportunity to experience a truly international environment but also relax and enjoy their time in our centres.

Excursions and educational visits form the backbone of our Find Education Junior Summer Camps activity programme. Our students will always be guaranteed to visit some of the most iconic and memorable locations in the UK and Greece, with activities that heighten their appreciation of culture and encourage personal development through education.

The on-site activities' programme has a range of choices available: from discos, talent shows and sports competitions to movie nights and treasure hunts. This integrated approach gives our students every opportunity to have fun and to develop friendships, using the English language as the medium that brings them closer to students from other countries.

Please check the sample programme for each centre to see more of what is on offer.

Residential accommodation

Find Digs, an experienced student accommodation provider, offers comfortable and affordable living solutions while you are studying with us.

For each of our teaching centres we offer high-standard, en-suite accommodation in student residences, a safe and student life oriented environment.

Safety & welfare

Find Education appreciates the concerns parents may have about sending their children abroad. The safety and welfare of the students in our care is a priority at all our camps and we make sure that everyone has a great time in a safe environment, in line with legislation and good practice.

International young learners are well supervised during their stay, by staff that have been through a strict selection process, trained in safeguarding & welfare and hold a recent, enhanced level DBS certificate. Only passionate, caring and dedicated staff are accepted to work with us.

Accreditation

Find Education is accredited by the British Council and is a member of English UK and English UK Young Learners.
