Description of centre

At York Associates, our job is to develop the skills which professionals need to communicate effectively across cultures. From language to leadership training, we help people to get results in today's global business environment.

For more than thirty years we have offered customised training to prepare professionals for international working. The company delivers courses both at its training centre in York, England and at client locations throughout the world.

Most of our UK-based training is run in York, a beautiful historical city in the north of England, where we offer a range of intensive language, professional communication and leadership courses. Our training centre is Peasholme House, a wonderful Georgian building which we have turned into a comfortable and well-equipped learning environment, just a few minutes' walk from the heart of the medieval city. We deliver our international leadership and team development courses globally, usually on clients' premises or in offsite residential training locations.
In addition, you can prepare for a UK university and join our Academic English courses in York. There are a number of options to choose from.

York Associates is a pioneer in its field. For thirty years, we have provided innovative answers to international communication challenges in articles, at conferences, and through our publications - books, CD ROMs, DVDs and audio material - designed to help people improve their international communication skills.

We also run a variety of workshops for trainers and coaches who specialise in international team and leadership development; and for teachers working in the field of Business English training.
