Description of centre Cambridge's newest language school! EngXcel is taking a fresh look at English-language learning in Cambridge. At EngXcel our English courses are available all year, at all levels, and our friendly team will be happy to help you find your best programme. We have small group or 1:1 study options; face-to-face, online or hybrid teaching; we arrange study-holidays for school groups and offer a wonderful, residential summer school; we teach English for exams, for work, for fun – but most of all, we teach English for you! EngXcel is headed up by a mother and son duo who bring a combined 60 years of experience in satisfying clients in the worlds of language-travel, inbound study tourism and hospitality management. Of course, we can't do all the work on our own... we're joined by a fantastic team of seasoned industry professionals who also put our students at the heart of everything they do. Our language school teachers are friendly and welcoming, with a wide range of experience, not only in English-language teaching, but also in the business and academic worlds. This enables them to provide a variety of specialist courses. Most importantly, they love what they do and work very hard to help students achieve their personal goals. We work with a number of trusted local partners to provide classrooms and school facilities perfectly suited to each programme we offer. Classes take place in central Cambridge in venues such as University of Cambridge colleges, Anglia Ruskin University and other carefully selected premises. Which venue we use for which programme will depend on the time of year, the venue’s availability and the number of participants - we will always tell you where your lessons will be held before confirming your booking. All our venues are within easy walking distance of the city's main attractions, shops, cafés, restaurants as well as the central transport hubs.
