IELTS seminars for UK & Irish educational institutions, March 2007
This year’s annual IELTS update seminars, organised by the British Council, will be held on 12 March 2007 in London, 16 March 2007 in Manchester and 27 March 2007 in Dublin. These seminars are designed to support educational institutions in the UK and Ireland setting minimum IELTS band score requirements and providing a general update on IELTS.
This year’s seminar will:
* Give UK institutions an update on new initiatives and impact of IELTS policy changes;
* Analyse what makes IELTS the first choice test for educational institutions and candidates worldwide;
* Help institutions understand how to set minimum IELTS band score requirements and introduce a tool to help with this;
* Present research findings from the University of Bristol on an impact study of IELTS scores and students’ academic performance;
* Respond to participants’ questions and feedback.
These seminars are designed for staff in international offices and admissions department of UK and Irish higher educational institutions.
Staff from other departments who would find the above topics of interest are also welcome to attend.
