English UK Members to Benefit from ELTON Triumph

To celebrate winning a British Council ELTON award last week for its innovative online ‘ICT in the Classroom’ course, the Consultants-E are offering English UK members the opportunity to experience this award-winning course at a special discounted rate.

ICT (Information and Communications Technology) in the Classroom is an online course which is quality assured by Trinity College London. The course provides teachers with practical, hands-on experience of using ICT in their teaching and looks at a range of technology-related tools such as blogs, webquests, text and audio chat, wikis, and podcasting.

To show its commitment to helping language teachers bring ICT into their classrooms, the Consultants-E would like to offer all English UK members a 10% discount on the ‘ICT in the Classroom’ course fee, if they sign up before the 10th April 2007. The next ICT in the Classroom course runs from 22 April - 30 June 2007, and consists of 50 hours of online work spread over 10 weeks.

The Elton’s seek to maintain and enhance the UK’s reputation for excellence in ELT by encouraging UK providers of English language training products and services to develop innovative and successful products, services and approaches to the learning of English as a foreign language.
