International Languages and Education UK Fair 2006
More agents than ever before
This year more agents than ever before participated in English UK’s annual Fair in Brighton – 470 quality agents met with 330 educators from 63 different countries worldwide. The top fifteen countries represented by agents were: Russia, Spain, United Kingdom, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey, Germany, Latvia, Japan, Poland, Brazil, China, India, Taiwan, and Ukraine. 2006 also saw a steady increase in the number of English UK members represented at the Fair with 140 centres participating this year (118 private sector members and 22 state sector members).
Feedback from participants
- 97% of the agents at the Fair rated the educators they met as ‘excellent’ or ‘good’
- 83% of education providers rated the agents they met as ‘excellent’ or ‘good’
- 97% of participants rated the overall organisation of the Fair as ‘excellent’ or ‘good’
- 99% of participants rated the eSchedule PRO online appointment scheduling system as ‘excellent’ or ‘good’

Launch of the 2007 Fair
One highlight of the Brighton event was the launch of the 2007 Fair which will see a new name, new venue and new focus for the Fair. As of 2007 the Fair will be known as ‘StudyWorld’, see www.studyworldfair.com for further details. StudyWorld will move the Fair from Brighton to the next level and bring to London the complete range of quality international education providers to do business with the world’s best study agents. The 2007 event will be held a week later than the Brighton Fair and will take place in the Hilton London Metropole.
