Covid-19: information for the UK English language teaching industry

With the spread of the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic causing global concern, we have compiled the most up-to-date information and advice relevant to the UK English language teaching industry; are running regular Q&As and webinars to support members in all aspects of their work; and are lobbying the UK Government for essential support for our industry.

English UK recommends all ELT centres to close in line with publicly funded schools in the UK

English UK is strongly recommending that all UK English language teaching centres should close at the end of the day on Friday 20 March in line with publicly funded education institutions.
