In the period since you received the summer English UK News, 9 more language centre members have joined our association, bringing the grand total to 435. This compares with 384 this time last year.
Listed below are the latest centres to join us:
Only centres accredited through the Accreditation UK scheme may be members of English UK. In the last few months, Southwark College has withdrawn from the Accreditation UK scheme and Manchester Central College, Bournemouth City College and Berlitz Language Centre, Brighton have all ceased to be accredited and therefore these centres are no longer a part of our association. Click here for further information on the Accreditation UK scheme.
ELT departments in state sector universities and colleges form around a quarter of the English UK membership, the remainder are private sector members encompassing the whole spectrum of providers. They range from small independent specialist schools to centres that are part of global groups, charitable trusts and independent study centres. As such, English UK continues to be your point of reference for identifying quality centres running the ideal English courses for your clients.
To find out more about any these 9 new members, or indeed any of our existing members, please refer to the members' directory on the English UK website.
Our website also has a useful course search function, which enables agents to find the centres most suited to their clients' requirements.
We are also pleased to announce the addition of two new corporate members of English UK - Oxford University Press and IELTS Success. For a full list of English UK corporate members and an overview of the activities these service providers undertake, please click here.
