Partner Agency interview: Gabriela Ardito from Argentina

As English UK's Partner Agency Scheme continues to grow, we would like to share a little more about our recognised partner agencies with you.

In this issue our guest is Gabriela Ardito, who runs Argentinian Partner Agency Viages Culturales a Europa.

How did you become an agent?

I am a teacher by nature and formed a language travel business in Buenos Aires to organise extension programmes for culture and language and get students from all over the world to study Spanish. I do tailor-made programmes and have been working for 22 years.

I used to work only with the Wimbledon School of English but recently started working with other schools, which is why I wanted to come to StudyWorld London this year.

What do you like best about your job?

I love events like StudyWorld, I am very sociable and I like extending my network of friends. And it helps my personal and professional growth.

A lot of agencies don't know what they are selling. They are in the travel business, and don't know about language, culture and learning.

What do you like about the Partner Agency Scheme?

I joined mainly to expand my possibilities maybe to work with other languages, offering more choices to my clients who are growing. I came to the UK myself as a student in 1993.

Would you recommend it to others?

Yes. It has been very good. I have been able to contact many schools and am looking forward being able to work with them. I am very happy.
