GESE - Summer exams for your Summer course or PON funding

Trinity's Graded Examinations in Spoken English are one-to-one, face-to-face oral assessments of speaking and listening skills. Suitable for all students, there are 12 GESE levels from pre-A1 to C2.

Why are GESE Summer exams?

GESE exams are engaging and motivational, with an emphasis on developing communicative skills and building confidence among candidates - perfectly complementing the ethos of summer courses. The exams are accepted for PON-funded courses.

GESE exams can become part of any course, however long or short: Trinity can accommodate lead in times for bookings from as little as 2 weeks, and enrolments can be amended up until the day before your exam.

GESE exams are

  • Motivational - assess what candidates can actually do, inspiring them to progress to the next level
  • Inclusive - suitable for all nationalities and all cultural contexts
  • Individual - candidates are able to discuss a topic of their own choice
  • Supportive - designed to support classroom work
  • Resourced - Trinity provides clearly defined specifications and guidance for teachers wishing to enter their students.
