Language Link was established in 1975. It is accredited by the British Council and HTS recognised by UKBA.
The school is situated close to the British Library and British Museum, concert halls, shops and parks in Bloomsbury, and what has become known as Medical London (home to the Royal College of Surgeons, the Wellcome Collection, the University of London Medical Institute and the Medical Association). We offer the following courses year round: General English and Examination (IELTS, Cambridge and Trinity), Teacher Training (CELTA), Erasmus+ In-Service Training for teachers and staff, junior vacational courses and specialised courses.
Since 2007 several EU funded programmes such as the Leonardo da Vinci and Grundtvig programmes.
Every student is interviewed by the Director of Studies and is given an individual learning plan which teachers oversee to optimise your language learning. Students receive a certificate at the end of their course which is graded according to the Common European Framework (CEF). Our average class size is 10-12 students in the low season. We are a well-equipped language college with modern facilities. The classrooms are bright and our teachers use Interactive Boards, TVs, videos, DVDs, CD players and cassette recorders. There is a computer room with free Internet access and a comfortable students' room for you to relax in. Our library has a selection of books and you can also borrow cassettes and videos. We also have a WiFi connection to give students free unlimited access to the Internet on their personal laptops.
We have a monthly social programme which include activities in and outside London. Information is available on our website and Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Language-Link-London/153081394728052).
