Newcastle upon Tyne is a vibrant city in the north east of England, famous for being one of the friendliest cities in the UK. The thriving cultural scene has a variety of theatres, art galleries, music venues and cinemas. Within a short distance of Newcastle are the beautiful coastlines and countryside of Northumberland. The county has more castles than any other county in England, including Alnwick Castle, which was featured as Hogwarts in the Harry Potter film series. The city is home to two of Europe’s largest indoor shopping centres and Newcastle United Football Club which is a five-minute walk from our Campus.

Our general English classes give students a good basic understanding of
vocabulary and grammar and practice in listening, reading, speaking and writing.
Our classes are small with 10-18 students and you can choose to study 4, 5, 6, 12, 15, 21,
23 or 25 hours per week. We pride ourselves on having a flexible offer that can suit all needs and budgets and is delivered by a team of experienced teachers.
The International Office runs a fantastic Social Programme all year round that fits around your timetable. The Programme offers a fun and cultural experience to accompany your academic studies and gives you the opportunity to see what Newcastle has to offer, as well as the chance to visit some of the UK’s most famous and historic places and attractions such as the Lake District, York, Durham and Edinburgh.
