Description of centre

Located less than five minutes walk from Scotland's main street- Princes Street, the school is based in a traditional Georgian building in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town. Overlooking leafy private gardens, the building offers fantastic views across the city.

Behind the traditional exterior lies a modern school offering learners computer access, free wireless and a student lounge where learners can relax between classes and practise their English with fellow students. Learners are also encouraged to make use of a well stocked lending library where they can access books, DVDs and audio materials.

Our commitment to smaller class sizes and greater contact time with our teaching staff enable us to provide a highly personalised service designed to suit our learners’ needs.

All of are courses are designed to have a positive impact on the present and future lives of our learners. Courses are offered in General English (both part time and full time), IELTS and Cambridge Exam Preparation. All of these courses can be personalised with extra one-to-one lessons depending on the learner’s needs and all full time courses include a weekly individual coaching session where the learner is able to outline and work with their coach to achieve their goals for the course.

Regent Edinburgh firmly believes that learning is not restricted to the classroom and our wide ranging social programme aims to involve learners in the vibrant city life for which Edinburgh is famous, allowing them to expand their experience as well as their language skills. With extensive rail and bus connections to the rest of the country, Edinburgh is an ideal location for those that wish to see more of Scotland with the school happy to help out in organising weekend trips.
