Description of centre

Based in Nottingham, a historic and vibrant "student city" in the centre of the UK, Nottingham College offers a range of International Access to Higher Education courses to help international students improve their English and develop specialist skills and knowledge to progress to high ranking British universities. Subjects offered are: Architecture; Business; Engineering and Science. We are also highly experienced in offering Summer Schools and EFL Short Courses for groups, which can be tailored to suit the needs of the group, incorporating English for Specific Purposes and vocational training in a variety of subject areas if required (e.g. business, IT, travel and tourism, sport, arts and media, engineering, automotive engineering, construction).

Nottingham College offers a high quality learning environment, with experienced teachers and a range of learning support available. International students are allocated a personal tutor to monitor and discuss their academic progress, and are offered specialist support through the International Office with matters such as finding accommodation, obtaining their visa, opening a bank account and registering with a doctor. The International Office team has speakers of several languages, which enables us to provide comprehensive support to students who are less confident in speaking English. A range of social activities are offered throughout the year to help international students to integrate into college life, and ensure they have a memorable and enjoyable experience during their time at the College.
