Members Matter centre visits

Members are at the heart of everything we do. We are your association and work hard to create opportunities, negotiate deals, deliver training and create initiatives that you could not do alone.

To help us understand what you want and need, and therefore help your business succeed, we are trying to visit as many member centres every spring and autumn as possible as part of our new Members Matter campaign.

Each spring and autumn we will select a group member centres that give us a good geographic spread across the country and contact them to arrange a visit.

We're really excited to get to know you better.

What happens during a visit?

We would like visit your centre for a cuppa, meet staff and students, maybe see some teaching, and hear about your issues.

What happens and how long we stay is entirely up to you. We just want to deepen our understanding of how you work, what you need from us - and answer questions about how we work and what we can do for you. Each Members Matter visit will be done by a couple of English UK staff.

In areas with more members, we might also arrange a drop-in event, probably in the evening, where you can socialise with us and each other and we can all find out more about what everyone's doing.

Will you visit every member centre?

We have an ambitious plan to visit every member centre during the next five years. But we are a small team and won't make it to everyone right away.

If you are especially keen for a visit, let us know! And if it's not convenient for us to visit when we get in touch, that's not a problem. We'll visit at another time
