Student Experience Conference

Student Experience Conference

Friday 11 October 2019
Pearson ELT, London

Ensuring students have a good experience at your English language centre, even before they arrive, is vital to the success of your business.

This day-long event is ideal for staff working in student services or welfare and their managers. The conference includes a number of expert speakers covering safeguarding, accommodation, the student customer journey and more.

The programme

This year's conference will focus on student inclusion in activities and events outside the classroom as well as supporting students facing exclusion. Ruth Hughes will be the plenary speaker at the event. She will open the day with a session on creating an inclusive environment and promoting student wellbeing in an international classroom.

Seminars will be delivered by Heather Rhodes, academic principal at Harrow School; Stuart Pollard, co-founder of arcQ, a charity that helps young people fulfil their potential; and Giovanni Licata, committee member of the IATEFL Inclusive Practices and Special Education Needs special interest group. And we will have even more announcements coming soon.
