The Millfield English Language Holiday Course is a well-established residential summer course open to students aged 12-17. We offer a minimum of 15 hours of English language tuition together with a full activity, social and cultural programme.

The Holiday Courses are accredited by the British Council, members of English UK and Quality English, and we have appropriately trained teachers for specialist subjects or international students.

Along with selecting one of the morning options (General English, Academic English, or Global Studies), students have the chance to select from a wide range of enjoyable activities (combinations of which can be chosen on a weekly basis):

•Sport academies with qualified instructors, (basketball, football, golf, riding, swimming, tennis)

•Specialist tuition in academy art, cookery, dance, DJ’ing, eco-academy, fashion performing arts, photography, outdoor adventurers, music, stage & special effects make-up.

•Sports and recreation (participation in a wide variety of activities)

•Extra English tuition (English Literature, Presentation Skills, Debating Skills)

Millfield is located in an ideal location for students to enjoy visiting some of the absolute best locations that the UK has to offer. Students enjoy one full-day and one half-day excursion every week. A careful balance of active, historical, fun, experiential and educational excursions are provided. Excursions include trips to Oxford, Bath, Cheddar, coastal resort visits and action-packed days at some of the UK’s best Theme Parks.
