English UK brings together quality assured English language teaching providers from across the UK. As a member, you'll join a supportive professional community, access practical benefits and stay informed about developments affecting the UK ELT sector.
As the national association for UK ELT, we also represent members' interests with the UK Government, international partners and other key stakeholders.
Membership options
There are two routes to English UK membershsip for language centres: member and associate member.
Member
For English language teaching providers accredited through Accreditation UK. Accreditation UK is the quality assurance scheme for UK English language teaching providers, delivered by the British Council in partnership with English UK.
Member centres receive the full range of English UK benefits and have voting rights.
Associate member
For English language teaching providers that hold a UK government-recognised accreditation, registration or inspection status other than Accreditation UK.
Associate members receive the full range of English UK benefits. Voting rights are reserved for members accredited through Accreditation UK.

Membership fees
Annual membership fees start from £1,017.
All centres pay a basic subscription, and there is an additional graduated supplementary subscription based on the size of the institution (size is measured in volume of student weeks).
Discounts are available for smaller centres.

How to join English UK
Joining English UK is straightforward:
1. Complete an online application form and provide any required supporting evidence.
2. Agree to abide by the English UK rules.
3. Our membership team reviews your application and confirms the next steps.
4. Pay your membership fee and start accessing member benefits.
Please note that your joining date may affect when you first appear in the English UK course finder and member directory, as well as access to some member benefits and discounts, including StudyWorld bookings.
