Activity leader training

Our short online training course helps new activity leaders prepare for their role in UK ELT.
It's free for anyone working at an English UK member centre.
The course content is for newly recruited activity leaders but is also suitable for more experienced leaders who want to refresh their work-based skills.
Topics
The training includes a series of videos from experienced trainers in the industry. The topics are:
- Working in a team
- Communicating effectively
- Leadership skills
- Dealing with difficult situations
- Being professional at work
- Looking after your wellbeing
Course information
It takes around 90 minutes to complete, approximately 15 minutes per module. Each module ends with three or four short comprehension questions that participants must complete.
Participants can watch the content at their own pace and log in multiple times. They will receive a certificate of completion when they complete all the modules and comprehension questions.
Participants access the course on the online learning platform Moodle.

English UK member centres can request an access code - by emailing our events team.
You can share the access code with multiple activity leaders.
The training is available to anyone working at an English UK member centre. If you haven't started your new role, contact your employer to request an access code.
