The UK leaves the EU with a withdrawal agreement on Friday 31 January.
This means the transition arrangements around travel, EHIC cards, Erasmus + and GDPR are unchanged. The UK is in a transition period until the end of December 2020, as the UK government works to negotiate trade deals and put new immigration guidelines into law.
