We have launched a roadmap for how UK ELT can rebuild lost trade after Covid-19. Rebuilding the international market for UK English language teaching: a roadmap to recovery after Covid-19 was shared with English UK members and stakeholders shortly before the nation went into lockdown.
Our new Covid-19 impact report, published in March 2021, estimates that English UK member centres lost £590m in gross revenue in 2020.
91% of UK ELT jobs were affected, with 54% of the workforce released and an additional 18% of staff furloughed.
