Brighton Language College (BLC) is an independent school founded in 1995. In summer 2015 the school’s renovation was completed and we now operate from a stylish new centre with modern facilities and 37 classrooms, making BLC the largest independent school in Brighton. It is located in the centre of Brighton opposite the Royal Pavilion and a few minutes walk from Brighton Pier. Brighton is located 55 minutes from London by train and is a thirty minute train journey from London Gatwick international airport. Brighton is a seaside city full of arts, history, culture, bars, clubs and restaurants. Brighton is considered to be one of the most bohemian cities in the UK.

BLC teaches adults all year round focusing on General English courses, IELTS, Cambridge Exams and Business. One to one classes are also available for professionals or students who want to increase their English level at a faster rate. A fun social programme is also provided for adults who want to engage the most of their English language by meeting other students and making new friends.

During spring and summer and winter BLC provides junior vacation courses for teenagers with interactive classes, activities, excursions and host family accommodation.

BLC prides itself by being one of the only schools in the area that provides family courses during spring and summer. Many families choose BLC to come and study with their children as young as five years old. Activities are also provided for those from the age of eight to eleven years old.
