This training is composed of two half-day workshops designed for ELT academic and centre managers.
These practical sessions focus on how AI can help you and your centre innovate. Attend one or both sessions for the opportunity to work hands-on with tools to explore options, test ideas and relate the content directly to your own context.

The workshops
AI for productivity and efficiency (09:30 - 13:00)
This session focuses on how centres can use AI to improve day-to-day operations, reducing repetitive work and making better use of staff time. Participants will explore the distinction between AI and automation, with particular attention to data, privacy and operational risk.
The session will also address how to think about the return on investment when adopting new tools or processes.
AI for growth and innovation (14:00 - 17:30)
This session focuses on how AI-enabled innovation could help centres identify new revenue streams, diversify their offer and strengthen the value they provide to learners, clients and partners.
Participants will work through the innovation process in a practical way, from generating ideas and spotting opportunities to testing, refining and planning how those ideas could be introduced.
The session will also consider the leadership and cultural work involved in innovation. Participants will look at practical ways to bring colleagues onboard, manage uncertainty, avoid change for its own sake and build confidence around small-scale pilots.
Each session includes a takeaway digital goodie bag: a set of bespoke-designed apps/ frameworks and other tools that leaders can take away and use in their own centres.

Beatrice Segura Harvey
Beatrice is an education professional with almost two decades of experience in English language education and assessment. She has led teaching initiatives, designed innovative curricula, and delivered training to educators worldwide. Recently, Beatrice has been working in international education research in which she has seen the needs of both students and teachers evolve in contexts around the world.
