Southbourne School of English has been teaching English since 1966. Many things have changed over that time but our commitment to providing quality English teaching in a safe environment is still the same. We offer adult and junior courses and closed groups all year round. The school is still family owned, situated in a quiet suburb of Bournemouth just 10-minute walk from the beach. The majority of our host families are within walking distance of the school and some are a short bus ride away. All our classrooms have interactive whiteboards and there is wifi throughout the school. Our local shopping area is thriving and now benefits from a range of independent and well-known restaurants, bars and coffee shops.
