Get ready for summer by boosting staff motivation
24 May 2017

Teacher motivation is a key, especially for summer school education, says Steve Wheeler, an expert in setting up and managing summer schools. Without it, neither teacher nor student will enjoy the course.

At an English UK conference dedicated to managers and experienced teachers involved with summer schools next month, Steve identifies different employee types and what drives them forward to keep staff motivated throughout the summer.

The team leader must be able to overcome low motivation and ensure that everyone is motivated in the right way, he says – even when the team is faced with a stressful and complicated situation.

Steve has had a diverse career in English language teaching, including teaching at several schools and now as a consultant for Trinity College London.

Whether useful tips on motivating your staff, continuing teacher professional development or handling student disruption, the English UK 'Get Ready for Summer' Conference will give you the tools you need for summer success

Prices are £40 for members and £60 for non-members.
