Closure of Avalon School of English
30 July 2018

On Saturday 28 July, English UK member centre Avalon School of English closed.

Students affected by this closure will be able to complete their course at another English UK member centre at no additional cost. English UK will also help students make new arrangement where accommodation has been affected.

This includes financial support from our Student Emergency Support scheme. The scheme exists to help students by making sure they can complete their learning elsewhere in the rare event of closure.

English UK is in contact with all affected students to find alternative providers and accommodation, but if you are an affected student and have any further queries, please contact us at info@englishuk.com.

Guidance for affected students

If you are a student already in the UK or due to arrive on or before Saturday 25 August 2018, and you have already paid your full course fees, we will place you in an alternative accredited centre in or near London for the remainder of your course.

We cannot offer a refund of fees paid to Avalon School of English.

Students enrolled at Avalon School of English will receive an email explaining the process involved and requesting a number of documents including a copy of your booking confirmation, proof of payment and identification/ passport.

Please note that there are a lot of students in your situation so we ask you to be patient while English UK is trying to help you all. We are sorry for the disruption to your studies but aim to get you back on track as soon as possible.
