Almost £2,000 raised for English UK Three Peaks Challenge
21 July 2016

We've raised almost £2,000 for the Eddie Byers Scholarship fund in our first weeks of fundraising!

A special thank you to English UK member St Giles International for the biggest donation to date, and to many other members across the UK, our former CEO Tony Millns, English UK partner agencies and everyone else who has made a donation!

The English UK team are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge - climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales, on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 September 2016 in memory of our late chief executive, Eddie Byers.

Eddie believed that education transforms people's lives and wanted English UK to create a scholarship to give students from around the world the chance to study English in the UK. We feel that creating this scholarship is the best way we can pay tribute to Eddie and his passion for education, creating a lasting legacy in his name.

If you can, please sponsor us and help us build a lasting legacy in Eddie's name. Thank you.
