Pickering New Headline Speaker for English UK Teachers' Conference
6 October 2010

Get off to a great start with George Pickering at this year's 2010 English UK Teachers' Conference!

George has agreed to step in at short notice to replace Jeremy Harmer, who has had to withdraw from this year's event. Jeremy told us he was very disappointed to miss the conference, and said: "I very much enjoy working with (and supporting) English UK". We are hoping to have Jeremy back for 2011.

We are delighted that George will be able to join us and his session entitled "Getting off to the best possible start; the importance of beginnings" is sure to prove popular with conference participants.

George is a speaker of international renown and is the lead trainer on the English UK Diploma in ELT Management (DELTM). Interestingly, George claims to live with a pet camel and monkey at his place in Ramsgate, and the monkey has been spotted at several English UK conferences in the past.
