As you may know, a new online English language test, Password Intro, will be launched at the British Library on 6 August 2009. Password Intro is specifically aimed at helping language schools and their students. It discriminates at CEFR A1-B1 levels enabling students to obtain a general student visa under the UKBA’s points based system.

In order to maximise the number of randomised questions to be in the test for the launch, English Language Testing (the developers of Password Intro and Password) are looking for some additional language schools to help item pilot questions.

The questions will be set up as a paper based test which will be marked by English Language Testing. In addition, group feedback will be given and schools will receive both a fee for helping out and a discount on any Password Intro tests bought during August.
