Description of centre

Greater Brighton Metropolitan College (the MET College) has a long tradition of welcoming international students from around the world. The friendly and professional International team, based at our Central Brighton Campus, oversee all aspects of welfare and academic development across five sites in Brighton, Shoreham and Worthing. Our Central Campus is located in Brighton’s North Laine area in the heart of Brighton. One of the best aspects about studying with us is that you are immersed in an established British college with 150 years of heritage, history and experience.

Students can join General English, IELTS Exam Preparation courses, English Plus subject with UK students or choose from a range of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, where international students can learn alongside British students. We also offer International Foundation Programmes, a one year academic programme designed to prepare students for university study in the UK.

Lessons are taught in modern classrooms, you will have access to up-to-date technologies including interactive whiteboards, computers and our Virtual Learning Environment. You will have access to our exceptional facilities, such as our Learning Resource Centre, cafeteria serving Starbucks coffee, IT suites, restaurant and beauty salon.

We also organise work experience placement for individuals and groups from EU/EEA countries.
