English UK is very pleased to have won the Star School Association of the Year award for 2010, which was announced at the Language Travel Magazine Star Awards ceremony on Saturday 4 September 2010.

Annie Wright, Deputy Chief Executive (Business Services) of English UK, who collected the award, said: "We're very pleased to have won this award again, and would like to thank everyone who voted for us.

"It's been a very challenging year for the industry as a result of the economic situation and particularly because of the changing visa situation in the UK.  Our member schools, our staff and our Chief Executive Tony Millns have worked tirelessly to maintain the UK's reputation as the leading provider of world-class and competitive English language education, and winning this Star Award is a recognition of that."

Mark Rendell, Deputy Chief Executive (Professional Services), and Jodie Gray, International Marketing Manager, also attended the awards ceremony, held at the London Hilton on Park Lane hotel.

An article featuring the winners of each category will be published in the November issue of Language Travel Magazine, which you will be able to access here
