English UK member rebrands to Oxford Spires International

This month, English UK member centre Oxford Spires Language School announced its decision to rebrand to Oxford Spires International. The change comes after another successful summer operating in Oxford and Cambridge, and ahead of the launch of exciting, brand new locations in Oxford (three new sites in total), Cheltenham, Sibford and Burford.

Director Owen McGovern said Oxford Spires has developed over the years into "more than just a language school," and that the change is "reflective of the increased demand in the international marketplace for something beyond pure language provision." He added: "This resonates to us from parents, agents and students more and more each year, so we felt a new name would be a better representation of what we really do."

Oxford Spires International's new syllabus of courses features Oxford Spires' own brand of specialist add-on activities called Spires Plus. These include themes such as exam preparation, business and leadership skills, STEAM, horse riding and integration with local students.

In addition to their existing summer schools in Oxford and Cambridge, Oxford Spires International will also be offering summer programmes in Cheltenham at Cheltenham Ladies' College; in Sibford, North Oxfordshire, at Sibford School; in Burford, in the Cotswolds, at Burford School; and in Oxford at Oxford Brookes University and Summer Fields School. They have also launched spring vacation courses during the Easter period at St Edward's School in Oxford and Cheltenham Ladies' College.
