Six tips for agents attending StudyWorld
24 June 2017

Make sure you have a successful StudyWorld with our six tips for agents:

1.    Decide your event objectives and create a clear event profile.

Are you looking for a particular kind of course? Or partners from a new part of the UK? Make sure your StudyWorld event profile makes it clear who you want to meet, and what your objectives are, so the right educators can request meetings.

You'll meet hundreds of people at the event, so upload a recent photo to your profile to help delegates find you.

2.    Start scheduling meetings as early as possible.

Log in to your account as early as possible to book your priority meetings. Meeting scheduling begins in early July, so some delegates will have less availability later in the summer.

Remember: agents can send meeting requests too. You can use the advanced filter to find education providers that suit your students' needs.

3.    Research delegates and send messages ahead of the event.

Do look at educators' websites before accepting a meeting request. If you still have questions, you can send messages through the Marcom system.

4.    Download the StudyWorld Marcom Onsite app to use during the event.

This app is a must-have: View your schedule on your iPad or phone, send messages to delegates, take meeting notes and schedule new meetings if you have availability.

5.    Talk to people!

You won't have time for formal meetings with everyone, but sometimes an informal conversation with an educator or another agent can lead to new opportunities and partnerships.

The prefect times to meet new people are during the seminar afternoon, welcome reception, coffee breaks and networking lunches.

6.    Stay connected on social media.

Facebook? LinkedIn? Twitter? WeChat?  Add your social media links to your event profile to make it easier to keep in touch after the event.
