Success all round for English UK London's annual football tournament

On Friday 13 May, English UK London hosted the third annual London ELT schools football tournament. After a two-year break, London members were keen to get involved and sixteen teams from across the city took part. Staff, students and suppliers played in what turned out to be a very competitive yet enjoyable competition. Stafford House International lifted the trophy this year with English UK corporate member Endsleigh Insurance as runners up and St Giles International in third place. Around 200 players and supporters were there to enjoy a very sunny afternoon which led into a prize giving ceremony and celebration later in the evening.

English UK London raised over £1,500 for Ukraine and chose RefuAid as the beneficiary of the funds. RefuAid work with a number of English UK member centres and together they support refugees on their first steps to education and work through English language learning.
