Almost 900 people from all over the world attended StudyWorld London 2011, making it the biggest–ever event in its 42 year history.

And delegates gave overwhelmingly positive feedback about some radical changes to the event's format, including a special party for newcomers and a glittering Welcome Reception in place of the traditional opening dinner.

Tony Millns, chief executive of English UK, said: 'There's been a lot of good business done here, and there has been a lot of positive reaction to the quality of both the agents and the educators. Not only have we got record attendance but more exhibitors than ever before, which shows that it is worthwhile for them to attend.'

Siobhan Baccas, English UK's international manager who organises the event each year, said: 'I'm absolutely delighted with the way it's gone. I've had so many people coming to tell me how much they enjoyed the Welcome Reception and how much networking and catching up with friends they were able to do during the evening. We've had excellent overall feedback about the whole event.'

A full report and gallery of photos from the event will be available online at www.studyworldfair.com shortly.
