Naadiya Rawat, Compliance Manager

Naadiya leads key areas of compliance for English UK, including immigration and visas, GDPR, safeguarding and accreditation. Working closely with the membership team, she supports member centres and provides guidance on a wide range of compliance matters.

Naadiya is English UK's main point of contact with UK Visas and Immigration, representing member interests and helping members navigate changes to immigration policy and practice. She also contributes to public affairs work and supports the association's advocacy on issues affecting the sector.

With more than 15 years' experience in English language teaching, Naadiya is well known to members across the network. Having studied in the UK as an international student herself, she brings first-hand insight into the international student experience. She holds a bachelor's degree in Human Geography and Human Resource Management from Keele University and a master's degree in Tourism, Environment and Development from King's College London. Originally from Mauritius, she speaks English and French.
