Roz McGill, Market Development & Insights Manager

Roz leads English UK's market development, research and intelligence work, providing insight and analysis to support the association's strategic objectives and help members navigate changing market conditions. Her projects include the quarterly student statistics (QUIC) scheme, which tracks trends across the UK ELT sector.

Roz has represented English UK in more than 20 countries, building relationships with international stakeholders and supporting events, trade missions and market development activities. In 2023, she joined ARELS, one of English UK's predecessor organisations and spent several years as membership manager, making her a familiar contact for members and agents.

Before joining the association, Roz volunteered at a secondary school in The Gambia, worked as an ELT assistant in Japan and taught English in Russia and the UK. She gained her CertTESOL with inlingua Cheltenham and holds a bachelor's degree in Geography and Development Studies from the University of Exeter. She is also a qualified AgilePM practitioner.
