Your safety at the event
We want everyone attending the conference to feel comfortable and able to enjoy being in the company of industry colleagues. We are working with the venue to ensure a safe and responsible event for all delegates and staff. No event is risk-free, however. Staff and delegates have a shared responsibility to ensure the event is as safe as we can make it.
Although there is no government requirement, we kindly request the following:
Before arrival:
Be aware of signs and symptoms of Covid-19. Refer to the NHS website if you are unsure of the latest list of symptoms. Do not attend the event if you have symptoms of Covid-19 or if you are currently testing positive for Covid-19.
At the event:
Face coverings
There is no longer a legal requirement to wear a face covering. However, the government suggests you continue to wear a face covering in crowded and enclosed spaces where you may come into contact with people you do not normally meet.
We encourage you to show courtesy to others and to wear a face covering if requested to do so by another delegate.
Handwashing and hand sanitisers
Handwashing is one of the best ways to prevent the spread of Covid-19. To protect yourself and others during the event, please wash your hands or use a hand sanitiser as often as possible.
Hand sanitisers will be located throughout the venue.
We thank you in advance for your diligence in this matter.

How to vote during the AGM and the conference motions
Whilst the conference is open to all, only the nominated representative (i.e. the primary contact) of an English UK member centre, or their appointed proxy, may participate in the AGM and/ or the conference motions debate.
We will use eBallot.com to facilitate the voting process in both sessions. Your nominated representative will have received your centre's unique login information in advance.
The software is easy to use and we encourage all those who are eligible to take part, so make sure your device is fully charged.
More information will be given to you on the day. Contact the membership team with any questions about the eballot platform or if you require your login information.

We recommend, for environmental and Covid-19 reasons, that paper materials, promotional giveaways, food items and displays which encourage physical interaction or excessive waste are avoided. Consider the use of digital tools such as QR codes, and other alternative means of capturing and sharing information.
Delivery of materials
Promotional material can be delivered to the venue on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 May 2022.
All packages must be clearly labelled using the delivery label provided. Please note that both English UK and etc.venues do not accept liability in the event of items being undelivered, returned to sender, lost, misplaced or damaged in these circumstances.
