Opportunities to raise the profile of your centre to agents from Thailand
29 August 2012

British Council Thailand has worked with the Thailand International Education Consultant Association, or TIECA, for more than 9 years on the UK English Summer Schools project. This project aims to promote English language centres accredited by the British Council during the school holidays in Thailand (March-April and October).

In order to provide TIECA members with first hand experience of English language centres in the UK and to update them with information about English language courses in the UK, British Council Thailand are organising a trip to the UK from late September to early October to visit English language centres accredited by the British Council.

Duration and Route options

22– 29 Sept 2012

Route A: Northern England and Scotland

Route B: South West England and Wales

Route C: Central England

29 Sept – 6 Oct 2012

Route D: London

Route E:  South and South East England

There will be 6-8 agents who are TIECA members on each route.

Apart from seeing the centres, their classes, and accommodation provision, this will create an opportunity for agents to expand their business collaboration and meet with new institutions.

British Council accredited language centres are welcome to apply to host a visit to their institution. Each visit will take approximately 2 to 3 hours. This opportunity is also open to boarding schools that are able to provide short-term English tuition to a group of international students in October or March and April. The participation fee for UK institutions is £1,000 excluding applicable VAT.

Interested member centres should contact Uraiwan Samolee (details below) on or before 7 September 2012 for an application form. Applications will be treated on a first come first served basis and dependent upon routes available.
