New survey to measure the impact of Covid-19 on the UK ELT industry in 2020

In collaboration with our insight partner Bonard, we have developed a survey to help us measure the current state of the UK ELT sector and the actual impact Covid-19 had on member centre operations in 2020.

The survey results will help us build on the research of our first Covid-19 impact report produced in July 2020.

We know the impact of the pandemic has been devastating, but we need the numbers to support lobbying at the highest of levels. The results will help us to continue to lobby for Government assistance for the sector through the crisis and into recovery.

What data are we collecting?

The survey will collect data from English UK member centres only.

Member centres will be asked questions regarding your actual student weeks and student intake in both 2019 and 2020 and your forecast for 2021, revenue loss and staffing in 2020, plus your expectations for recovery.

If you represent a chain or group of centres, you can either aggregate data from all the member centres you operate, or submit an individual submission for each centre.

Once you have the data, the survey should take no more than ten minutes to complete.
