Westminster Academy closes
23 June 2016

On Monday 20 June, English UK member centre, the Westminster Academy, closed.

Students affected by this closure will be able to complete their course at another English UK member centre at no additional cost.

Where accommodation has been affected, students will also receive support from English UK to make new arrangements. This includes financial support from our Emergency Student Support Fund, which exists to minimise the impact on students and to ensure they can complete their learning in the rare event of closure.

English UK is in contact with all affected students to find alternative providers and accommodation, but if you are an affected student and have any further queries, please contact us at info@englishuk.com.

Guidance for affected students

If you are a student already in the UK or due to arrive on or before Monday 18 July, and you have already paid your full course fees, we will place you in an alternative accredited centre in or near London for the remainder of your course.

We cannot offer a refund of fees paid to Westminster Academy.

Students enrolled at Westminster Academy will receive an email explaining the process involved and requesting a number of documents including a copy of your booking confirmation, proof of payment and identification/ passport.

Please note that there are a lot of students in your situation so we ask you to be patient while English UK is trying to help you all. We are sorry for the disruption to your studies but aim to get you back on track as soon as possible.
