English UK and our member centres would like to reassure Russian students that they can expect the same warm welcome and high standards of safety as they have always enjoyed in the UK.

The UK is a popular destination for Russian students who want to improve their English skills. Almost 11,000 came here in 2016, the last year for which we currently have figures.

English UK and our language centres very much value the relationship of trust built up with Russian students and their families over generations. We hope students from Russia will continue to enjoy the unique experience of learning English in the UK.
