In a rare presentation to the ELT sector, Pete Menzies will expand on his hard-edged, provocative insights of the business world in order to offer practical advice on how business English providers can improve their performance and create more profitable business opportunities at this year's Business English Trainers' Conference in London on 14 May 2011.

Pete will explore the challenges of selling to large corporations in this interactive session and will present a number of helpful and systematic ideas on how Business English providers need to raise their game and create compelling propositions that fulfil both the real and the perceived needs of the organisation in the eyes of the HR manager.

Pete Menzies works with people at all levels, from CEOs to Graduates, in leading international companies. His extensive experience allows for a unique understanding of the customers, the competition and the markets. He has developed strategies for transforming performance standards in the key quality skills: communicating & influencing, consulting & selling value, managing & leading change. Pete taught EFL with International House before working on English for Radio. He co-wrote the award-winning English for Business Life with Ian Badger.
