Description of centre
For over 30 years, students from around the world have attended Sherborne International Easter and Summer School, with the intention of improving their English language and writing skills, and to experience life in a UK boarding school. Our courses are academically focussed with 22.5 hours of lessons per week in the summer (30 at Easter) offered in combination with an extensive sports and activities programme. Work hard/play hard is very much our motto!
Sherborne International is located in the South-West of England in the county of Dorset, about 2 hours from London. Dorset is renowned for its beauty and is a lovely, safe environment for students to spend their holidays. We are proud of our British Council accreditation.
Sherborne International is part of the Sherborne group, which includes Sherborne School and Sherborne Prep. As a consequence we have access to world class facilities, including a state-of-the-art sports centre.
Student feedback is universally positive, with a particular emphasis on the feeling of belonging, quality of teaching, and friendly staff.
Our courses are for students aged 8-17 of all language abilities. In 2024 the Summer School will run from July 3rd through to August 14th, and students can stay for periods of 2 weeks or longer.
